Newtree Chocolate Lavender Vanilla Cake

Preparation and cooking time: 50min – for 8 people


  • Newtree Chocolate Lavender bar
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 220g spelt flour
  • 150g of coconut sugar
  • 240ml almond milk or oat milk
  • 80ml olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Edible lavender flowers for decoration


  • Preheat oven to 175°C.
  • Start by blending together all the dry ingredients.
  • Then add the almond or oat milk, vanilla, coconut or olive oil and cider vinegar.
  • Mix well until you obtain a fluid consistency.
  • Bake for 40 minutes at 175°C. Check the cooking by putting a knife in the cake from time to time, the knife must come out without any trace!
  • While the cake is cooling, prepare the topping. Melt the Newtree Chocolate Lavender bar with the olive oil in a double boiler.
  • Cover the cake with the chocolate coulis.
  • Sprinkle lavender flowers to decorate the cake.
